Interoperability is, by definition, the capacity of separate systems to communicate meaningfully and take action at each other's request in order to collaborate for the advantage of both parties. It specifically envisions the capacity for independent systems that are loosely connected to cooperate and exchange information.

Its importance in the Web3 and cryptocurrency spaces cannot be emphasized enough. For years, the issue of interoperability has dominated the crypto world. It is also central to Ruby Protocol's goal of creating a reliable, intent-centric, interoperable, and privacy-preserving Web3 infrastructure.
